Please Note this is for our Barbados & Apollo Cantilever Parasols Only - You will need our 100 Litre or Stone filled Base for the Genesis and Galaxy Parasols.
Chimes - Cantilever Parasol Base - 80kg Sand & Water Fillable Slabs are the ideal support for any cantilever parasol. The four slabs will fit perfectly into the cross section base of your cantilever and, when filled with the correct weight of water and sand, will support a parasol and stop it from toppling over. Not even extreme wind will stop your parasol from blowing over.
When filled with sand and water, the slabs will weigh 20kg each, with all four slabs weighing 80kg overall. To ensure the slabs are filled correctly and the base works efficiently, we recommend filling each slab with kiln dried sand and then saturating with water. For the ease, part fill the triangles with sand and then saturate with water later.
The base slabs are made from HDPE resin which is highly weatherproof, allowing you to leave the slabs outdoors all year round no matter the weather. The slabs come with their own individual carry handles, making it easier to lift the slabs and move them around your outdoor area. The steel link allows you to link the slabs together, ensuring the parasol is fixed securely.
